Dear Year 12s,
Next Monday, February 18 sees Dr Jason Fox visit us from
Melbourne to support us with our Yr 12 Academic Agility Program. Academic
Agility is a term we use in Year 12 to describe the optimum learner behaviours
which we look for in students. An agile learner, much like an agile athlete, is
able to practise, plan, adapt and refine their craft to achieve their maximum
potential. Dr Fox’s input, as well as other wellbeing sessions throughout the year
will aim to support all students to craft their academic agility.
A program for Monday is displayed below, it will also be on
the Yr 12 blog and on the whiteboard.
All students will
attend a Key Note Address by Dr Fox in Module 3 in ANZAC Hall.
Other smaller groups will operate throughout the day, please
check for your name. Future visits from Dr Fox will allow other groups of Yr 12
students to work closely with Dr Fox on academic agility.
