The deadline for existing applicants to change their SATAC preferences to most university courses and still be guaranteed equal consideration is midnight on Wednesday 4 January 2012. After this date changes of preference are not guaranteed equal consideration and the change of preference service on UniWeb will close in preparation for the January offer rounds.
To cater for the needs of IB students, SATAC has arranged for an extension of the change of preference deadline for university courses until 5pm on Friday 6 January 2012.
Please note that:
the deadline extension applies only to IB students, and to SACE students who are completing an IB subject to be counted as Recognised Studies for the SACE;
changes of preference made before the 4 January deadline must be made using UniWeb;
IB students needing to change their preferences on Thursday 5 January or Friday 6 January can do so by phoning SATAC on (08) 8224 4000 or 1300 138 440 (local call charge) during office hours.
Students should ensure that they have the details of their changes with them (including course titles and SATAC codes for all preferences in the order in which they wish to have them recorded) at the time they make their call.
SATAC has provided information about these arrangements to the Regional office of the IBO and you may have already received this advice as part of information about national arrangements.

IB CAS requirements
Dear IBDP students
By now, you should have completed all the requirements for CAS. To ensure that you have the evidence required by the IBO and to ensure you achieve your Diploma, individual meetings with each person have been organised on Wednesday 24 August. The meetings will be held in the small meeting room between A16 & A17 at the top of the stairs in the Arrowcrest Science Building. Attached is a timetable of the meetings. Most take place in free lessons. Please make sure you are prompt and have with you all the documentation you require.
Please let me know if you have a compelling reason why you cannot make the time allocated for your interview.
Regards
Chris Jordison
